Welcome! We have a relationship with those who own vacation weeks (timeshare) with the luxurious Grand Mayan and Mayan Palace Resorts & Spas in Mexico. These are 5 star gold crown resorts of the highest caliber. We are currently renting out unused weeks to those who are looking to stay at one of these luxury resorts for an affordable price. The "rack rate" plus tax/fees for these owner exclusive units normally exceed $457 per night ($3,200 per week), but when you rent one of these weeks through mayanluxury.net, you will only pay the rates shown below. You will be staying as a guest of an owner, and enjoy all of the benefits the owner receives as a preferred member.

Golf Club National Member: As our guest you are entitled to:

$69 green fee member rate per person (a 50% discount for Grand Mayan Guests); $100 at Puerto Penaso (normally $140 and $170 respectively)

Free use of golf cart & clubs at selected resorts (normally $45 per cart/clubs)

Note: these are 2010 member rates & rates may vary. We will confirm any resort adjusted increase with you prior to final confirmation. Applies to resorts in Acapulco, Nuevo Vallarta, San Jose Del Cabo, Cancun & Puerto Penasco. Guests staying at the Mayan Palace in Puerto Vallarta may use the course in Nuevo Vallarta (golf package not available in Mazatlan). Mayan Palace guests receive a 20% golf discount.

Brio Spa: Free unlimited access and usage of spa facilities for Grand Mayan guests (Brio Spa not available in Mazatlan).

Fitness Center: Free unlimited access and usage of fitness center and weight room for Grand Mayan guests.

Tennis Courts: Free unlimited daytime use of tennis facilities and courts for Grand Mayan guests. A $20 per hour savings. (minimal night-time illumination charges may apply).

Preferred booking: because we will be handling your booking arrangements for you, you will receive preferred treatment in availability options up to six months in advance.

Very affordable rates: Rates offered do not include a Mexican State room tax which may be charged at the resort. Airfare is not included.

Why are your rates so reasonable?

You will be staying as the guest of a timeshare owner at an owner exclusive resort. You will be paying the owner only their cost to cover their maintenance fees and other costs for a fraction of what you would pay the resort if you could get in. Once you experience vacationing this way, you'll never go back to a traditional resort or hotel room.

How are reservations handled?

1. Submit a request to us to check on availability.

2. We will then let you know if your requested date is available (our goal is within 24 hours). If your requested date is available, we will ask you if you would like us to proceed with booking the accommodation.

3. We will then reserve your unit under your name, as our guest, and send you the confirmation number established by the resort.

4. To hold your booking, we require a 50% deposit, either by check or through secure online credit card/Paypal.

5. The balance will be due 45 days prior to your scheduled arrival date.

6. You will have the vacation of your life experiencing all that the Mayan Resorts have to offer.

Can I rent less than one week? No. Of course you could stay less than one week, but you would still pay the weekly rate. However, since these rates are so low, it may still be cheaper to rent a week but stay for 4 days and still be ahead.

Do I need a passport? Yes, you must secure a passport prior to entering Mexico.

After I have a confirmation number, could I get a refund if I need to cancel? Yes, if your cancellation is secured more than 45 days prior to your arrival date. See Cancellation Policies.

Can I book a date one year in advance? No, we can only guarantee dates up to six months in advance.

Will I be staying at a Grand Mayan Resort or a Palace Regency Resort? If you choose to stay in Acapulco, Nuevo Vallarta, Cancun, or Los Cabos, your stay will be at a Grand Mayan. If you desire to stay in Puerto Penasco, Puerto Vallarta or Mazatlan, then your stay will be at a Mayan Palace/Regency. However, you can choose to stay in a Palace Regency Suite at any of the resort locations with the exception of Los Cabos.

What is the difference between Grand Mayan and Mayan Palace Regency units? Grand Mayan units contain an in-room Jacuzzi and the Grand Mayan Suites also have a private mini-pool on the balcony...Mayan Palace or Regency units do not have either of these.

Are these all-inclusive resorts? The Mayan Palace and Grand Mayan Resorts do not currently offer all-inclusive packaging. However, these Mayan resorts have multiple restaurants directly at the resort. The food is excellent and offers a full range of international, fine and casual dining at affordable costs. Room service is also available. All-inclusives force you to stay and eat at the resort in order to get your money's worth. Most of the time, a non-inclusive like the Mayan Resorts, will save you money in the end.

What if I want to save money and stay in a Mayan Sea Garden Suite? The Sea Garden units are less expensive, and because of this, are smaller in size and do not have some of the other extras that a Grand Mayan or Palace unit may have. Also, the Mayan Sea Gardens are separate from the Grand Mayan property set of buildings within the resort area. However, the Sea Gardens are perfect for those looking for a very nice resort accommodation at an extra low cost. Sea Garden units are available in Acapulco, Nuevo Vallarta and Mazatlan.
